This book is great if the receiving child likes factual books. It's a fun shape and very sturdy, but for those who like a story, this is not your book! A story line to go with the facts would have made it the ultimate owl book!
Cute skies of animal books. I'm very picky about good realistic pictures and readable story line. This series has it. I buy them for my grandkids as they fall in love with a new animal.
Wonderfull!!! My grandson loves these shaped books and they are very durable. He is a toddler and can get rough with books, but these are standing up to him.
Got this adorable book for my owl-obsessed 2.5 year old daughter. It's only 4 pages but each page has a good paragraph that holds her attention. I like that it's factual & not cartoonish. She loves that they're baby owls.
I bought this for my son (almost 2) who is obsessed with owls. To be honest, when I first opened this book, I thought it was a little over his head (wordier descriptions beyond his typical Sandra Boynton fare) but he enjoys it. I've even learned a few things from this book and would/will buy other books from the series.
